Way back when, I said I’d share my favorite Blondie recipe. Almost 10 months later, I’m making good on my promise 🙂
The reason I love this recipe is three-fold. First, you only need a single mixing bowl. The entire recipe can be made while only dirtying a couple things. Second, it literally takes minutes to make the batter. I didn’t time my prep, but you’ll have these in the oven in well under 10 minutes. Lastly, I love that this recipe allows you to customize the mix-ins however you want. Nuts, candies, chips, sprinkles – all fair game!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar.
Add in the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix until the dough comes together.
Add in your mix-ins. For this version, I went with mini chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
Stir the batter so the mix-ins are equally distributed in the dough.
Spread the dough into the prepared 9×13 pan.
I took this opportunity to add some sprinkles for a festive Halloween twist.
Bake for 20-24 minutes, or until Blondies are lightly browned.
Let the Blondies cool in the pan, and then remove and cut into squares.
Stack, take photos, and eat 🙂
